i mean a scratch that some one hasdone with their nails about 4cm longand not deep. or will it stay as a scar

it is hard to sat once it heal up use coco butter to keep from getting a scare.

It depends. If your healing is normal, it will heal in no time.
Tips:
Do not remove the dry blood if any. Apply neosporant ointment(oily kind at night and vanishing kind during the day few times a day).
Other then that do not touch it except for bathing and washing the face, as needed.

If the wound is taken care properly, it'll heal very quickly, maybe few weeks. But I can tell you it should be very quickly because our face is a highly vascular part in our body, many blood vessels run through our face, thus making it heal much faster than other part of our body.
