I am currently taking lithium and Lamictal but want to take lamictal only. I would like to hear how Lamictal as a monotherapy is working for anyone with Bipolar I.

My boyfriend is suffering from sharp pains behind his left eye, about once a day. I looked on the net and think they may be cluster headaches but his only last a couple of seconds not minutes/hours. Is there a milder form of the condition?

I had a partially open fist in kumite and now my thumb is numb in the joint area (lower joint).

How long is it supposed to stay numb for? And does moving it with my other hand even though it hurts alot help?

So basicly what i need to know is how can i make it heal overnight?

I have been on birth control pills for years. This week was my placebo pills and I did not have a period. This has never happened to me before. I took a pregnancy test last night and it was negative. Could the test be wrong? Has anyone had this happen before? If it matters I am on Aviane.

All I was doing was talking to my best friend and all of a sudden, I just felt depressed. My friend didn't do anything to make me depressed. I don't know why I felt so sad all of a sudden. I tried to watch television to keep from crying, but it didn't work. I think it may be because i'm going to be moving very soon and will miss my friends very much, but I'm not sure. Can anyone help?

I am healthy female, I have had a sore throat for 6 weeks. It's not a typical sore throat that you need a cough drop. This feels like a lump in my throat, hard to swollow and it feels tight and swollen. This is here all the time, day and night -never eases up. The dr said it was strep at first, antibiotics didn't help, then next dr said it was upper respitory infection gave me a steriod and antibiotic, no relief. I went to ENT who scoped me through the nose down the throat, nothing. Had a barium swallow, nothing. He said I need to see a stomach dr. it might be acid reflux without heartburn. He gave me a prescription for Omeprazole. I haven't taken it because I don't have any stomach problems or acid backing up into my throat. Please help.
