I am agrophobic at times and do find it hard to go out of the house once I am inside. It is easier at times for people to stay in their comfort zones and try to shut out the real world. Lets face it the real world in very scary really.

You cannot label everyone as being agoraphobics simply by using this site. Personally I find browsing through many sites educational and enlightening and it is good to be able to communicate whatever condition the person is in an wants to.

i havnt been officialy diagnosed with it but i had it for a time after smoking some weed. my anxiety got out of wack and i was gonna move out and of course i was a little nervous. anyways, it multiplied that fear times 10 and it was very hard to leave my house or my mom (eh.. im a momas boy i guess). anyways i had some anxiety attacks and sometims it was just very very high (borderline panic attack). i didnt take any medication or see a doc or anyone and now im getting better. its just a question about will power. my anxiety is still pretty high but it has come lower and i havnt had a panic attack in a while. hell, i went on a 4 day trip in december and although my anxiety was still a little high, i had a blast. it was the best thing i ever did because now its even lower. it will only be a matter of time before its gone

I used to be agoraphobic and I spent tons of time on message boards just looking for anyone like me so I could get some support and encouragement.
