Your friend probably has a psychosis of some sort or is developing schizophrenia. Seeing things are hallucinations, and hallucinations that talk to you are even more serious. Yes, she thinks those things are real, because psychoses are mental chemical imbalances that require the right medication to correct. We all see our world through our own chemical makeup. And when you're healthy and your body chemicals are in balance, you don't see things that are not really there. Your friend seriously needs medical attention and fast!
