The whole gist of this Anger Management. is to focus on improving communication skills. Evaluate causes or situations that trigger such feelings of anger. Thus creating a stressful situation for you and a loss of self-control. To be able to ventilate about it. Talk it out and put it out of your system. Try to avoid displacing your anger in a negative way.

To manage Stress is to learn to appreciate music, Use meditation, yoga and relaxation techniques. Get plenty of rest. Lack of sleep at times make one cranky. Develop a regimen of exercise and a healthy diet. Avoid drinking alcohol . Or address any chemical or drug dependency.

Remember, you are the captain of your boat and the master of your fate. Get rid of the hostilities and bitterness. Learn to bury grudges and forgive. If you feel the rages, stop for a second and count to 10. And take a deep breath. Remember, the occasions to keep your mouth shut when swimming and when angry. Most of the time, you'd only regret saying something in anger.

Look at the brighter side of things. Develop a friendly attitude. Avoid "road rage" by leaving the house early for work.
Empty your mind of negativity and the universe will fill it with love, wisdom and bliss. The tonque is the hardest instrument to tame. Our need to comment is obssessive and compulsive. chasing after tastebud pleasure is slavery. Witness your inner silence and be free.

Cultivate friends among different communities. Once you see their humanness, you will not close your minds to them. Cultivate self-awareness. The more you are aware of your own faults and foibles; the less likely are you to judge. Expose yourself to varying points of view. The more pluralistic your experience, the less will you claim custody on the truth.

Personally it takes a lot of discipline on your part. Not to mention a lot of patience too and perseverance as well. I have no idea if you are in reference to current or past anger and stress and self control. Regardless of when or how it started, you must develop a good self image of yourself and strive to attain your goals regardless of whatever anyone else thinks. Be your own boss, be your own person. Don't allow anyone to rule your life and tell you what you can and cannot do.

Presently I am in a battle zone as well with my own family members. They have grown up with a father who knew no different than to make people do what he wants them to do by ways and means of bullying, scare tactics and threats. They have caused me and my mother much stress and anguish. Currently I have decided that I am no longer their puppet. And you know what? They may not have liked what I said, but I feel better in saying that. Each one of us has the right to choose our own pathways. No one has the right to do that for us unless we ask them to do that. Stand up for yourself and prove to these people that you are worthy and you are a strong person and that you can take care of your own life and your own choices. Then and only then will they see that you are your own boss.

Good luck to you and I hope that what I've shared helps you some what.

Best single answer I know is to take up a martial art. The combination of exercise and discipline will lower your stress and teach self-control.
