Ok, I have been crying for the last 3 days, madder than a bad out of hell!! I know that I need to go back to the shrink but, I dont want to. I dont want to put my family through this again. I have been hositalized twice for depression/sucide, and uncontrolable anger. I dont want to go in the hospital!!! I have taken my meds...they do NOTHING!! I know I need to go, what else can I do? Other than run away???

At school that is. I get tense sometimes because Im socially anxious sometimes and get those annoying negative thinking cycles. How can I instantly relieve myself. I'm gonna take valerian. Does anyone know if taking valerian suppresses the nervous system? I heard that but dont believe it, it is safe right? What's the right dose during the day? Or I'm thinking of bringing a calming tea in a water bottle. Is tea still affective when its brewed yesterday and its drunken cold? Also does anyone have any other tips? Mainly im working on getting rid of a shaky voice and a sinking feeling and racing heart.

My daughter is 14, she has had 5 or 6 fainting spells in the last month and a half, she complains that her head is hurting, and then her vision goes blurry, then she faints.. She is not unconcios for mor the 1 min. She does have a slight asthma condition, witch she takes her inhailer as needed also her nebulizer as needed.

I have Lupus, and was having a bad episode of dizziness, chest pain, headache, weakness and shoulder pain. I recently moved to this city and don't have a cardiologist yet so I went to the ER.

I told the triage nurse that I have Lupus and had brought my medications. The nurse took blood, had an EKG and a chest X-ray done. A physician's assistant came in to examine me, too, and said my left arm was very weak, which concerned him.

Finally, the doctor came in. He looked at my chart and told me that he will not treat Lupus patients. I was shocked! He said that the disease is too serious and it's the policy. He then told me that I will probably have a stroke because of Lupus and wind up in a nursing home! He said my bloodwork showed I have thick, sticky blood, and this is causing my problems. But he would do NOTHING, not even refer me to a cardiologist. I left, feeling just as bad as before and I'm trying to get appointments. My arm is now numb and I can't use it.

What to do?

Ok I probably am a hypochondriac to a certain extent to those that have so boldly made sure i knew that and those more subtle thank you .I have one question.If you are a hypochondriac and you are trying to keep from being that way and say you have anxiety too..What if there is really something wrong and you ignore it.If you are a hypochondriac and not sure ,how can you be sure.I don't want to go the doctor all the time and ask someone every little thiing.I mean there are many symptoms of heart attack and stroke that are very close to anxiety so what do you do?

Ok, so I'm about to tackle this crappy addiction, I am very prepared for everything that is thrown at me. I just have one question that I can't find anywhere online and thought an ex-smoker could help. Will I ever feel like a non-smoker mentally? I'm afraid I associatted alot of activities wth smoking and won't enjoy them as an ex-smoker. TRUE??? Besides the obvious things like after eating, phone and driving..I'm talking about things like when ever i did projects around the house I always needed a cig. in my mouth or whenever I went to relax at the pool I'd have a drink and a smoke...things like that...

i just broke up with my gf today, i've done it many times before but this time i want to remain strong and not give in to calling back and trying to work things out. over the past 6 months things have just gotten worse and i have enough emotional issues to deal with anyway plus i have major deppression and am very suicidal. i spent thanksgiving in the hospital after an OD and she didn't even come to visit.

I'm new in town and don't know about this dentist. I'm only 24 and would really like to save the tooth. Why would he tell me the tooth isn't worth saving? Can't we even try a root canal? The tooth just began bothering me. It's not sensitive to hot, cold, or pressure. The tooth isn't loose. Surely, worse teeth have been root canaled? Please help. I'm stressing out.
