I am so shocked after reading some UTI related questions and answers.
Cranberry juice or pills are only good to prevent UTI because of natural substance called D-mannose in them! but when you already have UTI, which is bacterias in your bladder, the cranberry juice or pills, will only create acid environment, which is perfect for baterias to multiply!
I had 20 UTI's past 2 years and two of them became Kidney infections because I was drinking (unsweetened) Cranberry juice like crazy. Also, please! We do not get UTI's because we wipe in wrong ways! I became obssesively clean after 2 UTIs. Personal hygiene has nothing to do with re-occuring UTI. It is those mutated baterias that antibiotics can't kill anymore. Please ladies, take good care of yourselves. If you want to ask me questions, I will gladly help you with my experiences!

NOV-002 is also in Phase 2 development for chemotherapy-resistant ovarian cancer and early-stage breast cancer, and is in addition being developed for acute radiation injury.

Hi all... Please help...During ugly arguments with my partner I sometimes burst out laughing.. It is not because I find it funny... or am laughing at him but it is a reaction I can not control.. I try hard to stop myself as he's gets really angry and aggressive......but can not help it.. We generally are not able to communicate well... somehow it always turns into an argument even though I can't see why.. as we are grownups and should be able to talk.. I feel my hysterical laugh is unability to deal with his anger and aggression.. but he doesn't believe me.. He trully believes I laugh at him..in his face.. Actually I am in a state and really scared... Advice please

Could it be allergic reaction? I take some medications for a heart, stroke and seizures. I am 40 Yrs. old. I even sterilize and use a new razor each time. Sometimes there are up to 20 hair embeded, should they be removed? Sometimes they seam infected. Any input is apprciated. Thanks me

My girlfriend had to take the morning after pill last month, about a week after she had what seemed to be a normal but very early period. She was due to have one in the first week of Jan some 3-4 weeks after but she didnt so at the end of that week we did 2 pregnancy tests which were both negative.

If her normal period was due it would of happened almost 2 weeks ago but she has had nothing at all.

Is this normal and is she likely to have her next period on time?

I get severe sinus headaches and I've had surgery once and it didn't help. I've heard other people who had the surgery and it didn't help them either. I'm trying to decide if it's worth going through a 2nd surgery.

I have asthma. Iv'e seen the doc who told me to use blue, brown and green inhalers. Cough is driving me mad and i nearly passed out in morrisons. Doc said i wasn't getting enough oxygen. Gave me more antibiotics and a 'spacer' to use with my inhalers. Still feel giddy sometimes and have another appointment on friday. Is there any way to help myself?

I had a miscarriage two months ago after a brief 4-week pregnancy. A blood test confirmed the pregnancy was over. At the start of my next period, I began birth control pills (Kariva). The period quit that same day, then there was a little spotting a week later.

My next period, at the end of the first course of pills, came with terrible cramps on the second full day. The flow of blood stopped. I was nearly immobile, weak and pale, and after about an hour had to throw up. Then my uterus was able to expel what had been clogging it. The blood surrounding it was dark, dark red. The thing was flat, rubbery, ropy, dark red but laced with grey, about two and a half inches long, almost that wide. I felt fine immediately (but tired).

Yes, I know this would be a good question to ask my doctor. But I'm starting here. All you amateur gynecologists out there--what's going on? Should I be worried?
