I have fibromyalgia and my Dr has been very good to me. He also has symptoms of disorders that can't be proved by testing so he knows. Anyway....

I have heard of it being done but you have to be able to prove you have it (every exact symptom according to their criteria) and that it is truly disabling.

i'm a Social safe practices disability criminal professional and that i have represented many fibromyalgia SSDI claimants. note that maximum fibro cases will finally end up at a listening to because there's no "itemizing" for fibromyalgia and the very nature of fibromyalgia cases (subjective symptom reporting) will dissuade administrative workers at SSA from approving those cases on the initial or recon charm factor. SSA judges are regularly receptive to fibromyalgia cases, although they in many cases want a kind (functional means evaluation) and consider a much more effective perfect shot when you're on your previous due 40's or 50's with a lengthy interest record. i bypass right into a robust little bit of component about case ideas for fibro cases on my website - at age 19 you'll want solid and consistent help out of your treating medical doctors.

I would suggest that it won't qualify. Why? Fibromyalgia is considered to be treatable disorder with lots of exercise and anti-inflammatory drugs, and the ingestion of lots of pure drinking water. Therefore, it isn't ''disabling'' according to the experts.
Sorrrrrry. Plus you will find MDs will treat you less respectfully because they see FM and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as 'patients faking pain' or mentally ill. It isn't fun.

Try a real illness.

Or, just work for a living like the rest of the world.
