I get severe sinus headaches and I've had surgery once and it didn't help. I've heard other people who had the surgery and it didn't help them either. I'm trying to decide if it's worth going through a 2nd surgery.

I have known several people who have had sinus surgery and all of them said it came back and would never do it again. To judge whether you would do it again depends on if it helped you at all the first time and for how long. Is it worth doing it again and it possibly coming back after a length of time. Only you can be the judge. Everyone reacts differently to surgery. Good Luck.

It would depend on what surgery you had previously. If it was just a straightforward drainage then maybe it wasn;t scraped sufficiently after drainage.
If it was for polyps then perhaps they have regrown.
You really need to consult with your doctor and get a referral to an E.N.T. Surgeon. See more than one and get some other opinions.
I have had nasal surgery, and whist there was post op discomfort I have to say it was the best decision I made.

This forum cannot make the decsion for you as there is no way of seeing and making an informed diagnosis one needs to know the full history and do a physical examination of your nasal and sinus passage by Xray and scope.
