and also she wasnt able to go to bathroom for a least a week and they told me she has a little infection in the pancreas she is with antibiotics ..... I am looking to contact with some body who had the same symptoms I am in New Jersey - thank you

k i use this stuff called acne free. it's not very widley known but it works. i am allergic to sasylic acid which is in most ance products. and if your like me then you don't have to worry acne free doesn't have a trace of sasylic acid anywhere. it's like proactive but you get at Walgreen's for like $20.00. It has 3 steps, the cleanser, puryfier, and repair lotion. this works for me and hopefully it will work for you!

okay so my new years resolution is to lose weight. i've never been on a diet or tried to do the diet thing, but i find my motabolism is slowing down and my size 8 jeans are getting snug. i've been the same size for a while, but as with every lady in my family they all gain weight after graduating from high school. i don't want "the freshmen 15" i don't want to gain weight and i want to eat healthier. i am also working on my cardio and on an ab lounge... so any tips on healthy foods! I got my teeth cleaned in March of 2006. The dentist said I had two cavities, one that was deep and one not very deep. When I got the first filled, he didn't use any sort of pain reliever at all, not even a numbing shot. It was probably the worst pain I've ever felt, to the point that I had nightmares. Needless to say, I didn't go back to get the second one filled. So, I've had an unfilled cavity for almost a year. How much damage has been done to my tooth? It hurts when I eat sweets, but it seems like it's actually the filled tooth that's hurting, not the unfilled one. Is that possible? I've got a dental appointment in 2 weeks, but I would like to get some idea of what I'm in for.

Before you start thinking that I am one of those girls that is obbsessed with being stick thin, I am worried that I am too thin.

I am 12, and 5' 4", and I weight 90 pounds. I am worried that I am too thin. I am in good physical shape, I do ballroom dancing and I scored the highest score on the cardiovascular test, plus I am pretty athletic.

Plus, my family isn't tall and thin like me. My sister is 5 years older than me, and I am almost as tall as her. I am taller than my grandma and my mom. Most of my family isn't thin, they are normal/nicely plump.

It isn't like you can see my ribs and I am completely boney, but I just want to know if this sounds unhealthy to you? I eat 3 meals a day.

Okay...I have been through a LOT in the last year of my life.

The only reason I'm asking this here, is because my own doctor is one of those that if you present with a sore knee...he'll say you're depressed and try to prescribe you an anti-depressant. UGH

I took care of my grandmother, who died in August, 24/7 from September 15, 2005 to August 3, 2006. She had a severe stroke (unexpected, she had broken her hip and became an amputee because of a severe leg tear in the fall...but yet was totally with it in the head is why I took care of her, we would NOT put her in a nursing home).

I had to break down her door and get to her (mom was on the phone with her when it happened), because I had just left to feed my pets at my house.

She died August 8, her funeral was August 11, and the children we were matched with to adopt moved in August 15.

I have not grieved her, I can't seem to feel joy regarding the adoption even though our kids are GREAT! (continued in comments)

I have been sick for about 9 days straight now, and my appetite is horrible. I lost about 4-5 lbs and the only thing I ate today was some jellow and a cookie. My mom keeps begging me to eat dinner, but I just cant. I feel like it will just upset my stomach more, even though I WANT to eat. Should I just force myself to eat because its good for me, or should I not in case it makes things worse?

a doctor's visit is expensive. if the doctor does prescribe penicillin or one of its relatives, he will write a prescription for tablets or capsules, which you will have to take for 7-10 days.
when i was a kid (40+ years ago) the doctor would give you one shot in the butt. a few days later you were cured.
i realize that various bacterium require certain antibiotics to kill them, but few doctors actually swab your throat and grow and identify the particular bacteria that is infecting you. they just take a guess as to which is infecting you.
why can't i take the guess, buy the penicillin at the local feed store and save some money?
i don't think the oral meds work as well as the injectable ones, but most health insurance plans won't pay for a shot.
any comments?

Okay, i started getting this rash a couple years ago when i wore a belt the metal part irritated my skin. I was prescribed elocon but now I dont have insurance.Now lately the rash (if its even the same thing) is on not just that spot but the sides of my stomach too and my arm.It itches the most when i get out of the shower or sweat.Its the most awful itch you can imagine.hydrocortisone definetly does not work and of course ive tried to limit metal contact with my skin. if you have any info or suffer from the same PLEASE help. i would greatly appreciate it.

I have a tingling pain on the palm of my hand that feels it is some kind of a pinched nerve. It is right where my hand is when using a mouse, which I use frequently during the day. I also use a stapler frequently, and that might be the cause as well. Does anyone know the name for this or what it is?

In junior high, I had just gotten my period and wore perfume to "cover up" any bad smell from my pad. Then I overheard someone saying, "it smells in here--like dirty diapers, cheap perfume, and hairspray." (of course I was also wearing hairspray; it was the late 80s.) He was seated 3 rows in front of me. I've never been confident about the way I smell since.
