My 11 year old is starting to have tourettes related tics. What kind of doctor should I take him to, and what can be done? Thanks!

I am a 50 yrs. old female and I have MS and I have custody of my 19 month old Grandson and for the first time in my life I think I have the flu. But with the baby I am NOT getting the rest I am sure I must need to get better sooner. I would like to know if I am not resting can I expect the flu symptoms to linger longer than normal.

Paranoid people have a different frame of reference of reality, how do you convince them that they are not thinking normally?

my sister in law is driving me nuts, she thinks:
1) that I'm breaking into her house and looking through her stuff
2) that I do stuff on purpose to drive her crazy
3) they are playing songs on the radio carrying secret messages for her
4) everyone is withholding important information about her health, like she has AIDS and no one wants to tell her
5) everything has a hidden meaning, like when I played a game with her son and left the die with the number "3" on it when I left, she thought I was telling her she only had 3 years left to live

I've tried to tell her that she should get some help, but she claims that there is nothing wrong with her and that I'm the one who's crazy. I'm at my wit's end. I'm thinking of writing off to get some mental health brochures sent to her, but I can't find any info. She doesn't have the internet, no email.

I have a really hard time opening my mouth and the pain is only on the left side of my face. Also, there is a large lump that feels like a knot in the muscle? The swelling is all the way down but the knot remains, I'm just wondering what my help get rid of this or ease the pain.

i am willing to try non invasive options before i go out and blow 8,000 on a set of breasts. i am afraid of surgery, but i don't know what else to do. anyone have any suggestions- no i will not do the push up bras, padded bras, or anything that won't be there when my bra is gone- i am currently a 34 b and i want to be more of a 36 c- p.s. this has nothing to do with self esteem because i am very satisfied with myself right now

I had to go to the ER this past weekend and was told by the attending physician that I had an abscess on my wrist and it was causing a lot of pain and fever. I was prescribed sulfur for an antibiotic and sent home. This is taking a long time to heal.

ok today at skool i was walking in the hallway and me and my friend starting punching each other, ya i kno dumb idea. well after we stopped punching each other i punched the lockers that were rite nxt to us. that was like 8 hrs ago and my hand still really hurts. its on the top of my hand and like when i try to write wit a pencil or squezze something my plam starts hurting. if i barley touch it, it hurts really bad. its hard to pick heavy things up. wat did i do to my hand? cause it is in alot of pain rite now.

How do I deal with the pain? If it is an anal fissure or hemerrhoids? It doesnt hurt all the time, periodically. When im laying down its fine, only when I move a certain way it hurts. The pain started at 5 pm its now almost 12.

I've been using albuterol with a USP propellant, now my pharmacy is only selling albuterol HFA and it doesn't work? The USP type worked great as a fast acting inhaler, the HFA type doesn't work for me? I know it's the same medicine with a different propellant but it doesn't help my symptoms.

I have been hearing voices on and off for a few years. I have tried a few different drugs. Most doctors seem to just brush me off since I'm poor. When i was on med's the voices would always get louder when it was a normal time for me too take meds. I'm also afraid to take some meds because , in the back of my head i feel that i can beat it , instead of haveing some nasty side effects. At this point i don't know what too do.

I took advis quite heavily to try to calm the pain I was having with some major kidney stone problems. Since I'm nursing a baby that's all I can take. It made my stools pretty bloody, and it went away once I was done taking the meds. This was about a month ago. Now, I took an 800mg pill for some pain I was having in my arm. I only took it for one day, but since then for about 4 days now I have sharp pains in my stomache and have extremely runny stools all day every day and into the night! Why the heck does this do this to me? Does it do the same to anyone else?
