You have to have sex you lost your virginity. Don't listen to the other people!! They make it sound like if you pop you cherry you lose your virginity which is NOT true.

You can pop it by using tampons (which is not sex... duh!). Who's ever said that they lost their virginity to a tampon?!?! It's just dumb...

Having an intact hymen and being a virgin are not one and the same. It can take more than one act of vaginal intercourse in order to tear a hymen. But one act of vaginal intercourse means you've lost your virginity.

Medically no. Emotionally, if someone penatrates you, you have lost your virginity, but medically you can lose your virginity to a tampon.
