I know that persistently forgetting where something was left (e.g. keys) is a sign. My father doesn't do that, but what about the following. He will sometimes tell a joke or a story, only to tell it about 20 to thirty minutes later. This does not happen every day, so I do not want to bring up the possibility with him. I think he would become angry anyway, and not go to a doctor.

go to bed at 9 every night, get up at 4:30 in the morning to work out for half an hour (either yoga and pilates or my salsa tape), eat "all bran" cereal w/ a cup of skim milk, go to school, walk around the school for half an hour, turkey sandwich with fat free cheese and lettuce for lunch, then after school work out for 45 minutes (The Firm workout tapes), eat a salad for dinner, and a glass of skim milk for a snack.

A 57 year-old woman experienced a CVA (cerebrovascular accident or stroke). Her symptoms which include motor deficiencies in her right arm and leg, were corrected by a technique that involved catherization and removal of an embolus from the left middle cerebral artery. The medical team went right into unblocking the artery without any x-rays and MRIs. This has to be because it's a common area for blockage, but does anyone know why?
