Here is a doctor approved way to find out if it is muscle or fat. Get a tape measure, suck in your gut as much as you can, and measure around your waist at the belly button. Convert your height to inches. Your waist should be no more than half your height. If it is more - than it is fat. People cannot "suck in" the omentum, (I'm not sure of the spelling) which is a band of fat we all have around the waist. If you have a lot of muscle, your omentum will still prove to be lean.

You really should be asking your doctor. It's important that you look after your heart. You may believe you are eating well, but you may have a cholesterol problem even at a young age (there is more than one kind of cholesterol), or be malnourished in one area, etc.
It's great that you eat well and exercise :). I would go talk to your doctor about nutrition and don't worry too much about the looks side of things. You sound confident, which is fantastic.

Take advice from your doctor. I'm sure you must have a free health clinic somewhere.

well, look down at ur belly, can you see little or no fat but feel a lot of muscle when you flex? if so, your healthy, its muscle weight. Muscle weighs more that fat. im like 5'2'' 13 years old, and weigh 115 pounds! i ski and get exercise a lot, i got muscle weight, not fat. so on the information you gave us so far i would say your really healthy. if you want true proffesional help on this question, ask a doctor.

I think people go by body mass index (or something like that) to determine weight/height ratios more accurately.
