It's okay, but the thing is that the world is so over populated that donating eggs is only going to encourage women who can't have babies! Really, these infertile women should be adopting the unwanted children instead of being selfish and thinking they need one of 'their own' or a 'white baby of high class breed'. For this reason, I think you should sell them: at least when you sell them you are profiting from the downward spiral of the world. Then you are at least enjoying your life before it all goes to hell with over population. Just because you can (or can find a way) to be a mother doesn't mean that you should.

Sperm is much easier to donate than an egg is. All you have to do is spill in a cup if you're male. For a woman there is actually some surgery involved. Plus women only have a limited number of eggs while men can continuously produce sperm.

I would say yes, donate your eggs! There are plenty of couples out there that can't get pregnant or want the child to be more of their DNA than through adoption (not that there is anything wrong with adoption). I don't think it's morally wrong in anyway. I would say speak with your primary care physician and get his/her opinion on the matter, as well physical to make sure you can donate, I'm sure she/he can tell you the next steps or point you in the right direction at least.

You have to fill out extensive information about yourself and your family history and your looks...from hair and eye color to weight and height. The people who choose your egg are kind of a factor in the exceptance of the whole thing. You also have to be between a certian age and have to go take blood tests to see if you are able to donate. As for it being moral, thats up to you, you will have a child out there possible someday, but you will have helped someone with the process of having a child. Call your local health department to find out where to go to get the application. If you are over 33 then you cannot donate, and you have to send a picture of yourself. As far as I know they compensate you for you time (with money) and the proceedures you go through, it takes alot to do this kind of proceedure.

I've donated! I just recently completed my first cycle and it went very well. I was told I'm not being "paid" for my eggs....rather, "reimbursed" for my time. And what a bit of time it took! It was like a job!
I first told my GYN I was interested in donating, and she was able to give me a card for a very good fertility clinic she knew of.
Be prepared for lots of blood work, shots, vaginal ultrasounds, and a little "surgery" at the end.
There's no evidence of egg donors having becoming infertile themselves from donating.

You have hundreds (if not thousands) of extra eggs that you will not use. I don't think that you will need all of them. There are no physical reprocussions of donating your eggs. It would be nice to give eggs to a woman who can't use her own eggs, and help give them the miracle of life.

Donating them to women who don't have them: It's fine.
Selling them: No. That is morally wrong when people don't have that kind of money. Best to donate instead.

I think it's great to help someone who can't have children on their own, personally i would do it. Not sure if there's something wrong morally, but it' snot like we're getting payed to masturbate like male donors (JOKE!). Not sure who to contact, but try talking to your doctor, I'm sure he can direct you to someone in your area.
