My period is coming at a terrible time I have taken my pills correctly since I've started them and I just want to delay my period for a little bit. Am i still as protected as the rest of the month?

I had surgery 6 weeks ago I had the rotator cuff cleaned up and I had a ligement reattatched. I have been in theraby 3 times a week for the last 6 weeks they ordered another 12 weeks of theripy. How much longer will this last. The pain that is.

I have tried Benedryl, does not help. Oatmeal helps short term but my face is still red, hot, itchy, swollen. Now I'm trying cortisone. Any other suggestions? I don't have a doctor so I can't be seen. The rash isn't spreading through my body it's just on my face. Any help will do.

does anyone know of how much a dental hygienist make starting in/or around the new york area? Not so much in the city like manhattan because i know cost of livng is higher there. Anybody know how it is around the capital of new york (albany, colonie, schnectady,rochestor,troy,saratoga....) Also does anyone know how a DH would make after taxes? I know when people say they make X amount of dollars an hour, I wonder how much they end up getting taxes are taken off?????? I figure if you take an average $5 off an hour of what one makes and then thats how much one is left with. so for example if someone is getting paid $25 an hr, then after taxes he/she would be left with an estimated $20 an hour. Iam not sure if Iam accuratly correct.any comments, suggestions.............comments

I have been recently diagnosed with having HSV-1 in my genital area. I got it from my ex who failed to mention he got cold sores. I am out on the dating scene again and want to know my chances (in percentages preferably) of passing it on to others. My wisdom teeth (all four) were removed 6 years ago.... and they were not even poking out... so the dentist had to remove them by cutting my gums, and taking them out n little pieces... I sometimes feel like they are still in there... back there my gums hurt...and i feel like im teething...

i am not bulimic or anything but i wrestle for my school and weight is a big issue. i needed to drop weigth in an hour once and i regretabaly threw it up to loose the weigth. i know how wrong it is and it gives my hole sport a bad name but it doesnt bother me at all and it is such an easy weigh out. im not planning on usuing it constantally but can anything bad happen to me if i do keep doing it

My daughter (2yrs old with thick long hair) has bad dandruff. I use Selsun Blue sensitive skin when I was her hair. The dandruff goes away for a while. Her scalp starts itching and she of course scratches it and it becomes red. She then gets these little sores and scabs in her scalp. Does anyone know what this can be?

For the last five years i have lashing out in pure rage! I did feel some of this in my teenage years but not this bad. 6 yrs ago i divorced and it was tough. at the same time i had recently joined the military. Ever since then i can get easily irritated and i have no control over my anger, which usually culminates in a bad situation.l

I am desperate, two years ago i married and i have hurt her in so many ways. I know she fears me, i really dont want that. I do love her very much. we have a newborn, and i really dont want her to experience this!

I am so unhappy with myself. I dont know what to do? I dont know if i need a shrink or not! I just want to get better!

I have returned from the dentists having not been since I was about 19 or so and I am 34 now!, I needed a root-canal on my lower jaw and a broken wisdom tooth removed on my upper jaw. I decided to put my money where my mouth is and went private as the NHS i'd visited did not inspire my with confidence. I did opt for sedation but in the end the dentist said she'd only needed to sedate me a little bit and I was fine. So for all people that worry about it...Don't, the relief is a lot better than the pain of toothache and if you need sedation then ask for it but once they have numbed up your face you only feel a slight pulling and prodding and the slight nip of a tool. It is the mark of a good dentist to make you feel relaxed and i did. I will go there again for sure. Bottom line...Don't be afraid, as it is the fear of the unknown that is making you feel afraid not the dentist. I am really happy as up till now I was a real dental-phobe.
