Its all sillyness (if thats a word! lol). There are loads of "corner shops" that are even open on xmas day for food and drink etc. As for the shopping in town, thats a nightmare and i wouldnt even attempt to go shopping near to xmas there! People fight over things and push you all over the place! Its stupid! Do these people actually need all these things they are fighting over? And dont get me started on boxing day sales in places such as new look!! cor blimey!
My local shop is open all through xmas and the new year but i wouldnt panic if i was short on bread or anything on xmas day! I will be too drunk and stuffing my face with quality streets to care!
Merry xmas all xxx

Yes i have noticed that. It's like the shops are going to be closed for a week or something it's silly. Its just 2 days. I'v noticed that people are buying food in bulk, spending £200 at the supermarket cos they are scared they are going to run out of food. I want to scream at them its 2 days for crying out loud do u really need to spend that much, and they are holding up the queue because the amount of shopping they have. And forget about last minute xmas gift shopping. My advice is to do it well in advance to avoid the rush, or you will be waiting hours just to pay for a loaf of bread or a last minute gift. So yes i do agree with you.

Yes! I do my shopping throughout the year, not only to spread the cost, but to avoid having to go to busy places as I can't cope when there are large crowds of people. I can't understand people who 'stock up' for xmas, anyone wuld think the shops were closed for a fortnight instead of one day. It drives me insane, but then I am anyway!

Yes, I hate it. I do all my shopping online, carefully targeted so no chance of buying stuff I don't want or need. I also don't stay in the UK for Christmas but go to a tiny village in the middle of Europe where there's no such thing as a shopping trolley. Bliss.

Teddy Kennedy with Obama's help positioned forth a bill that ought to ban any ammo able to piercing a bullet evidence vest, this is all deer searching ammunition. some human beings say that Kennedy replaced into unaware of that truth, yet previous Ted stood on the floor of congress and demonized the 30-30 lever action rifle utilising searching ammo that pierced the vest of a police officer about 10 years in the past, calling for an end to get admission to of such equipment of destruction. Obama has reported he's in want of a nationwide ban on hid carry, and in want of a rustic wide ban on handguns. He has not pushed the country wide ban on handguns because the DC ruling, although, he makes it sparkling he concept the DC handgun ban replaced into constitutional and that interior sight parts must have the right to limit handguns. If interior sight parts can legally ban handguns, so too ought to the federal authorities. absolutely everyone who says Obama isn't about a gun ban is a finished and absolute fool. Obama obviously and it seems that reported on the campaign path he plans to revive and make perminant an attack weapon ban, this time with tooth and without loopholes. No way you'll close all loopholes without also banning ALL semiauto searching rifles except for .22LR in accordance to his demonizing the 30-30 and his call for a ban on all handguns, I see the hot AWB as degree #a million this is not only AKs, ARs, SKSs, and FN-FALs we favor to be apprehensive about, that is somewhat a lot each and everything. So purchase guns, yet call your congressman and connect any gun employer you could, be it the NRA, the GOA (Gun vendors of u . s . a . of america), the JPFO (Jews for the upkeep of Firearms possession) or the purple Pistols (gay, lesbian, and transgender for firearms possession and hid carry rights)

No, because I start buying my presents in the summer sales. They are much better and a lot cheaper. Christmas week when you go out buying, you always get ripped off by the shops putting up their prices.
