I get chronic yeast infections and i dont always itch...but i always get the same discharge. It is white, no smell, ricotta cheese texture, and doesnt really fall out but sticks to the inside walls of my vagina.
This sounds wierd, but stick your finger in there and scrape the sides and scoop out anything if it is there and take a look...if it is clumpy and no smell, you probably have a yeast infection.
I find the best thing is the 1 day monistat treatment. Put it in at night (so it doesnt leak out) and in the morning take a shower and the medicine should fall out and things should be normal...easy as that!!

feels like an intense itching, burning sensation, localized in your vagina and vulva. this itching is not always present, but can get really bad, so bad you can hardly walk, let alone ride your bike to the pharmacy or doctor to get it treated.
looks like clumpy nasty white stuff. most medical descriptions compare the discharge to ricotta cheese, but it can range from thick and not clumpy to faintly yellow to thin and clear.
smells like bread or beer. in fact, it smells pretty much exactly like yeast, although the yeast used in brewing and baking is an entirely different species (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). no bacteria could smell like that, so it's a great diagnostic.

Itchy vaginal aera, swollen outer vagina. If you let it go really really bad, you might get what looks like a cottage cheesy discharge.
