It is not true at all. An orgasm has nothing to do with your menstrual cycle!! Try researching this a little more on the internet...but if you know even a little bit about the female anatomy, you should know that this is impossible!

I have never read or heard about orgasms shortening a woman's period. I think she's just trying to find a way for you to sleep with her more lol. Just tell her you love being with her, even if the "orgasm shortens my period" theory isn't true!

It won't. Having an orgasm will not effect the length of your period at all. Sometimes your period will vary by a day or two, but it has nothing to with orgasms, it's just the way your body works.

Orgasms make the uterus contract (in other words spasm). The theory behind it is that the uterine contractions help to slough off the lining being expelled that much faster. It is supposed to also aid in the relief of period cramps. From personal experimentation, I've found neither of these to be true.

Honey I don't believe they know what they are talking about. But then again, if it does, I would guess that the spasming in yoru uterus might wash out the built up wall where the egg is supposed to lie which is what your period does anyhow. I haven't heard that though.

It doesn't -- whoever told you this was wrong or misinformed.
