I had surgery 6 weeks ago I had the rotator cuff cleaned up and I had a ligement reattatched. I have been in theraby 3 times a week for the last 6 weeks they ordered another 12 weeks of theripy. How much longer will this last. The pain that is.

I tore my rotator cuff skiing. I went to the ortho guy and they didn't do any surgery since it was a minor tear. It hurt for a year, no kidding. I couldn't pick up anything with that arm.

I had something similar, no reattachment, done in 2004. While it still hurts a bit with weather changes it is not too bad. it took a year for mine to come back to what I consider normal. Stay with the PT both formal and informal and do not push it too hard for a while. Cheers
