How does Social and Economics have an affect as to why one becomes an Anorexic??

My birth control pills say that I should take my pill the same time everyday or else I might get pregnant. But lets say I usually take it at 8am but one day I over sleep and I take it at 10am. Or I have to run out of the house very very early in the morning and take it at 7. What if I take it at different times each day but with only 1 or 2 hours between them? Should I worry? Do I have a few hours leeway? I always remember to take it and never with much time after the 24 hr mark. How much do I have to worry about it?

here it is, i'm going to hav emy period this week and i feel the symptoms: cramping, tender nipples nad breasts but mostly depression...i am so depressed it's not even funny even while typing this i'm in the verge of tears. i have exams tomorrow and i cant concentrate...i feel so down, i know it's cause of my pms but you know...i just wnat to go into my room and jsut cry till i die....any suggestions on what to do??

My husband is a late onset type 1 diabetic (33yo) and he just will not exercise. Otherwise he takes good care of himself, eats right and keeps his sugars pretty low. He has no other health problems. He's on cholesterol medication as a precaution (because his diet tends to be a little higher in fat). I'm wondering if he is doing any long term damage by not exercising now. Is it a MUST to exercise or is it just recommended generally.

I never bite my nails..but I cut them a couple days ago and like..underneath my nail hurts really bad..when i type..write..do whatever with my fingers..especially when i try to lift it up to see whats under there..and now today i noticed that it looks red like it's bleeding or something under there..just a little bit though..not like really bad...is it okay? has anyone had this before? or do you think my nail is infected?

I have eczema on my eyelids, and it is actually a type of eczema called atropis dermatitis. I am 14 years old, and I have had it for so many years. I tried Elidel, anti-aging creams, and right now I am using TriCeram. But I have used it for a week, and what happened was, there was no more infected cuts or holes, but the itching became persistent and the redness spread. What can I use?

I have a half impacted wisdom tooth and the Dentists want me to agree to remove it or my teeth will continue to crowd . I thought at my age all the teeth that have grown should have stopped by now . I'm not sure I should believe them . Any thoughts ?

I know that a lot of people will argue for circumcision based on religious and cultural norms, but I'm talking scientifically and healthwise. Are there really benefits to removing a healthy functioning foreskin? I know that it reduces the pleasure, which is not good.

I've got this red bump on my wrist... I think it may be a mole... But I'm not quite sure, It devleoped a few months ago... at first it was kind of sore... and then it turned Purpleish Black... and I scratched it off... and it came back... and now it's just a large mole looking thing... although it keeps getting caught on things! A few days ago, I got it caught on something, and it tore partly off... It hurts really bad right now... Is it a mole?

My daughter, Ava is 11. She is having a lot of trouble! Puberty for her just started, and its not going well. She got her period and she doesn’t know when to expect it! It comes the 30th and then the next month it will come the 12th it comes at the most random times!!! She gets HORRIBLE cramps- What medicines are good that she won’t throw up? and she throws up. She also has smelly issues. She uses dehoderant. We’ve tried everything we can! We’ve tried every brand. It just makes her stink worst. She showers once sometimes twice a day. She’s in tears from the smell some days!! She also can’t seem to find bras that work for her. She has small breasts but big nipples making them stick out. Suggest anything? Poor Ava!! i fell and sprained my wrist 2 days ago and i got x-rays and stuff kept ice on it and everything, well the inner part of the tip my thumb (closest to hand) is totally numb with absolutely no feeling and i was wondering if the feeling would come back ever or is it permanent nerve damage?
