i fell and sprained my wrist 2 days ago and i got x-rays and stuff kept ice on it and everything, well the inner part of the tip my thumb (closest to hand) is totally numb with absolutely no feeling and i was wondering if the feeling would come back ever or is it permanent nerve damage?

The lack of feeling could be attributed to either nerve damage, or swelling that impinges the nerve (causing numbness.) Once the sewlling subsides, if the numbness is still present, you should revisit the doctor who treated your wrist and take it from there. He/She may wish to wait longer, prescribe physical therapy, order tests, or otherwise modify your treatment plan.

It could possibly be nerve damage. I would recomend going to see a neurologist, they cand do simple tests to check for nerve damage.
