My daughter, Ava is 11. She is having a lot of trouble! Puberty for her just started, and its not going well. She got her period and she doesn’t know when to expect it! It comes the 30th and then the next month it will come the 12th it comes at the most random times!!! She gets HORRIBLE cramps- What medicines are good that she won’t throw up? and she throws up. She also has smelly issues. She uses dehoderant. We’ve tried everything we can! We’ve tried every brand. It just makes her stink worst. She showers once sometimes twice a day. She’s in tears from the smell some days!! She also can’t seem to find bras that work for her. She has small breasts but big nipples making them stick out. Suggest anything? Poor Ava!! Thank you for your help!!! - Ava’s mother who needs help!!

Your poor daughter. I know what she is going through. I started when I was 9 and it was bad for me too. Imagine being 9 and wearing a C cup and having to go to gym during that time of the month, TERRIBLE! I am 19 now and this is what I did. What I suggest is, as far as the cramps, have her take Advil. They really help with the cramps and when the cramps ease the vomiting will hopefully stop too. Most girls ,who start young, period do come at different times every month and it is normal. She might stop all together in a couple of months but she might also just be irregular until she hit 15 or 16, she might even skip months at a time. A doctor can tell you more about that but mine told me that it was normal and that it will be back on track around 17 or 18 and it was. And the smell issue, Have her to wash under her arms every morning and to put on her deodorant as usual but then put baking soda on top of that. It get the sweat and cuts down on odors, and have her to wear a light body spray to give her skin a smell. And get her some sport bras since she still have small breast. They will be good for her for right now and fit really close to the body to kinda help the nipple thing.
I hopes this helps. Good luck!!

I got my period when i was 10, i have very bad cramps, bleeding really heavy, and it would come at the CRAZIEST times...sometime i would get it for a week and not have it for a week and then have it the next week. My mom took me to our family doctor and she suggested BC, my mom freaked out and would let me go on it, so i put up with all the crazy crap for about 3 years when i turned 13 my family doctor suggested it to my mom again, she finally said okay and it made my life ten times better, i know exactly when i am getting my period, no pain and i only bleed for about 4 days...i didn't have to go to any special doctors...save your daughter the embarrassment...if she hasn't had sex ur family doctor will be able to give it to her....hope it helps

take her to the doctors...put her on the pill...its not just for birth control. it can help with lessening cramps, make periods shorter, and less painful, and also help with puberty problems...my freind is on it for awful cramps that would keep her out of school 2 weeks a month, throwing up, unable to move, and unable to do anything from period pain. it sometimes takes many different trials to get the one that works. beyond that, get a padded bra, not a sheer one. she will grow into a chest...i had the same problem..for deoderant, try deoderant free, and a different brand of soap, like a deoderant soap, but...maybe, try a baby shampoo...
good luck, puberty sucks. :-/

Ava needs a good gynecological examination. Tell the doctor all the issues she is having. Maybe he can suggest something to help her. A lot of young women who have their first periods have erratic starting dates. She needs to see a doctor.
