People spit, its just a nasty habit, however no health issues

yea..its bad..but i dont think its causes any particular problem to ur health. But its definitetly bad to the surroundings & to the people around.
And what do human loose after spitting...??? ---
ofcourse, they lose spit (saliva)!!
Its time they start fining people who spit in public!!

I guess it's unhealthy since saliva serves various purposes in the body like breaking down nutrients. Also, it is very disgusting.

Ya I wonder why people spit too.I never seem to have that urge when I am out in public/otherwise

its very bad habit. saliva is important to digest our food in mouth. it contains some enzymes which wash away the bacteria in mouth. so spitting will confirmly affect ones health.

Yes, spitting is bad for you. I have been doing it for many years now and my hair is starting to turn gray and fall out. It is all because of that damn spitting.
