Alright. My throat is feeling really, really hoarse right now.
Here's the story. My stomach was feeling weird 3-4 hours after eating, so I forced myself to throw up. For the first 45 minutes, it barely worked. Then it suddenly worked. And kept going. So I forced myself to stop throwing up and cleaned up everything. I felt these dry, raw bumps on the back of my tongue. When I scratched one off with a nail, it was whiteish and odd.

How do I take care of my throat and tongue?

(P.S: I realise that wasn't a wise decision.)

Hello guys. I dislocated my shoulder 3 weeks ago playing basketball, and I am wondering when I can get back in action. So far the healing process has been excellent, no swelling and no pain unless i raise it above my head. Anyone know whats the best case senario? Any words of comfort? [=

My hands always get SO dry during the winter from me washing them a lot at work. The air gets cold and dry and then my hands start to crack and bleed and get extremely dry, red and irritated. They get extremely itchy and they hurt so bad. Every time I put lotion on them they burn even more...and a lot of the lotion doesn't help. What do y'all suggest is the best lotion with no scent and something that won't make the open cracks in my skin irritated or burn? THANK YOU!!

Dispite what all of you anti-drug people might think, I have been smoking marijuana for the past year or so and have decided to stop for a while. I don't want to know how to make it untraceable on a drug test and how to pass a drug test. I would like to know how to clean it from my body so that it no longer effects my brain and so that I go back to using 100% of my capabilities once more. I'm not a doctor, so I could be wrong that I think that cleaning my whole body of the chemicals in marijuana (THC and some others) is different than trying to pass a drug test, so please do enlighten me. I am going to go to USC next year and would like to do my best right now so that nothing comes between me and USC and the rest of my life. I have heard that cranberry juice cleans the body pretty good and that excessive amounts of water and some exercise can do the trick. Maybe it's just me, but I'm looking for something that will "clean my brain" so that I can use my full potential once more. Thanks.

Any tips?
I am just slightly below the minimum weight for donating blood. It is very annoying that sometimes I'm allowed to donate, sometimes I get rejected. I would like to gain say 5 kgs and keep it there. Any ideas? Thanks!

My pet rat (completely domestic, bought at a pet store) had a foot injury that was bleeding a lot. I picked up the rat to examine it and she scratched me with the claws on her injured foot. The scratch was deep enough to make me bleed. So I probably was contaminated with rat blood. Is this dangerous? Do I need to seek treatment?

I had to go to the emergency room about a month and a half ago because I had a kidney stone and didnt know until the pain became unbearable. So they gave me an IV, meds, and sent me home hours later to eventually pass it, WELL they poked me twice for the iv and my vein since then has been swelling up off and on and often throbbing from pain. It was only one vein but now one very close to it is doing the same thing. Does anyone know what the reasoning for this is? Ive heard that its normal for the vein to swell but then go back to normal a few days to a week later (not in a month).....I'm calling my doc monday but as for now, Im getting worried....
