Dispite what all of you anti-drug people might think, I have been smoking marijuana for the past year or so and have decided to stop for a while. I don't want to know how to make it untraceable on a drug test and how to pass a drug test. I would like to know how to clean it from my body so that it no longer effects my brain and so that I go back to using 100% of my capabilities once more. I'm not a doctor, so I could be wrong that I think that cleaning my whole body of the chemicals in marijuana (THC and some others) is different than trying to pass a drug test, so please do enlighten me. I am going to go to USC next year and would like to do my best right now so that nothing comes between me and USC and the rest of my life. I have heard that cranberry juice cleans the body pretty good and that excessive amounts of water and some exercise can do the trick. Maybe it's just me, but I'm looking for something that will "clean my brain" so that I can use my full potential once more. Thanks.

With all of these types of questions, the majority of answers you get will be from people who really have no clue about the subject.

If you stop smoking pot, it will be gone from your body within thirty days. The effects will be gone long before that. You don't need to do anything special, and there is probably nothing special you could do to speed the process.

You don't need to "clean your brain". If you still think you have problems with your brain after thirty days then look for another cause for whatever problems you perceive.

Stop smoking marijuana and let your body do its work. You can help it with things like cranberry juice and lots of water, as well as improving your diet in general. Be careful about the cranberry juice, as overdoing that will do horrible things to your digestive tract.

Getting clean and staying that way will help clear your mind quite a bit. You could also use gingko biloba to help sharpen your wits - you can get it at any health food store and many grocery stores as well.

memorize a few lines from the bible . I don't know if its just the mental excersize of memorizing or the words themselves. I had a huge brain fog going when I first got saved. I really felt the power cleanse action when I first started doing it.

here is a good starter:
Titus 2: 12
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world

Congrats on wanting to stop. The methods you suggest are possible for water soluble compounds, but THC is oil soluble and that is why it goes to the nerves. The passage of time with exercise is all that you can count on for it to clear from the system.

water wont help as this is fat soluable. if you were gaining weight while smoking then you will have to lose that weight to get it all out of your system. clear thinking is not so much the residue in your body but the damage you did to your brain cells while you were smoking it. good luck. Do you remember the names of your parents? if yes, there is hope for you.
