I'm cuurently 16 and since I was about 9 I've battled with my wieght. I'm not fat and I've never been fat or overwieght. I have just always been extremly unhappy with my body. I started my first diet when I was about 9 and although I didn't realize it at the time I became anorexic. I eventually started eating healthier again but than in seventh grade I begun to dislike my body once again. This time I knew what I was doing but I decided to starve myself once again. For the past four years I have been an on again-off again anorexic/bulimic. Currently i'm not sick, I am eating healthy but not starving myself nor purging after I eat. I'm afraid that if I go back to eating whatever I want I will put on weight and once again resort to an eating disorder. Whenever I get something "unhealthy" I feel guilty for hours after and beat myself up over it(not literally). What is a diet plan I can follow to maintain my weight and not put on extra pounds.

Is it possible to ovulate late?
I was suppose to ovulate on the 22nd of Nov. but I did not have the type of discharge I normally have when ovulating. On the 30th, I had the clear stretchy kind. Is it possible to ovulate that late? I know I AM NOT PREGNANT, but I am late with my period. I was just woundering how long after ovulation is it before you start a period.

I have been living for the last 4-5 years like this:

1-working for 8-9 hours in the office where i stare at the computer screen all the time.

2- I then come home and either watch TV for anothr 5 hours.

What are the bad consequences of such behavior?

Since smoking and overeating / lack of exercise are choices, not something like a disease or other affliction that one does not have much control over, I wonder why Healthcare coverage providers cannot charge more for people who are by their own choices / habits, increasing the cost of the services for everyone.

My dad was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis in Sept 06. He seems to be on a rapid decline. He is in advanced stages and damage to his lungs is extensive. He is on medication but it doesn't seem to be helping and he has been refused oxygen as test showed that using it did not help him. I can only fnd a limited amount of info on the disease and I'm not sure what to expect. He is constantly breathless and can bearly walk around his home. It is so frustrating that nothing seems to be able to make him feel more comfortable. He sees a specialist every 3 weeks but inbetween appointments we just seem to be on our own. I know the outlook for him isn't very good. If anyone has experience of this disease then I would be grateful for any info.

Hi, I have suffered classic migraine without aura for as long as I can remember, horrendous headache, pain that is that bad I cant sleep until I am sick, it lasts for a few days, horrible, I have recently been diagnosed with migraine with aura, a migraine known as hemiplegic migraine! I was taken to hospital with symptoms of migraine with aura and the Doc at the hospital told me he thought I had, had a TIA (mini stroke), scary as only 33 yrs old! I had CT scan, chest xray, ECG and blood test. My Doc has taken me off the pill (contraceptive), I can only have a barrier contraceptive. He has prescribed beta blockers which apparently reduce migraines with and without aura, is this true? Does anyone take beta blockers for their migraines? Do they work? Will I have to take them for life? I know I should of asked my Doctor but I was just happy that I hadnt had a TIA and couldnt wait to get home and tell my family. Please help!! Thanks in advance, serious answers only please xx
