Sometimes when I have sex I get an uncomfortable feeling like i have a bladder infection. It goes away in a few hours but is uncomfortable enough that sometimes I dont want to have sex. Is this normal? What is it and how can I stop it from happening?

I have had some discomfort after or during sex when I am not sufficiently aroused. Also a lot of rubbing over the urinary opening can be uncomfortable and irritating. I know of people who also have discomfort from getting too much soap in that area.

Talk to your partner about what feels good and what doesn't. Avoid creams or lubricants directly over the urinary opening. Make sure you and your partner wash your hands before any foreplay begins.

If the problem persists you might ask a doctor about it. I don't think that it is too seriuos though.

p.s. cranberry juice can be helpful in preventing bladder infections and in good overall urinary health.

U might have a urinary track infection. Also if you use latex condoms you could be allergic to those.People rush off to the doctor to quickly for every little thing. If it goes away afterwards it might be in your mind. So dont rush to your MD unless you know something is wrong.
