I defenatly feel the same way a lot, and i think if you make a sincere effort in learning more about the people around you, or get to know your current friends even better the feelings will subside.Maybe if you got involved in some sort of club or something you could find more friends with your interests as well. Thats what i try to do, it usually helps.

i have felt this way in the past. Fortunately I no longer feel this way. I have come to realize that I really do have more in common with other people than not. The more I talk to people I realize how similar our feelings are. Almost everyone has worries and fears. We all hope for love, happiness, and contentment. Try to focus on the things you do have in common. What you choose to think about really does affect your mood and behavior. Instead of thinking that hey i am the only one with zebra striped hair and parents that are from Antarctica, think about how you in the same place with that person now. Same surroundings, same age, same something if you look for it. Also learning about what other people find important and interesting to them can be fun too.

honey it happens to eveyone sometimes. find somewhere to go where people would have similar interests, like a book signing or book club if you like reading, a jazz bar if you enjoy jazz, a charity event, join a club, whatever interests you. you'll meet people interested in the same things as you.
