Is it possible to ovulate late?
I was suppose to ovulate on the 22nd of Nov. but I did not have the type of discharge I normally have when ovulating. On the 30th, I had the clear stretchy kind. Is it possible to ovulate that late? I know I AM NOT PREGNANT, but I am late with my period. I was just woundering how long after ovulation is it before you start a period.

Ovulation can be a tricky thing, and it is totally possible to do so late...while I don't know for sure from your situation, I do know that our cycles change from time to time...That is why the rythm method of BC is unreliable...ya never can tell, mother nature is tricky sometimes....

Yep. the conventional cycle is 28 days, yet countless issues may reason a disruption in that cycle, and some females under no circumstances have a commonly used cycle. The sparkling stretchy style is likely a extra valuable indicator than the calendar. in the different case the "rhythm approach" AKA do no longer make love earlier to / close after the calendar dictated date time can be a miles extra powerful type of birth control. very last family individuals I knew that relied on the rhythm approach now has six little ones.... ;-)

I heard no matter the lenght of your cycle, you always ovulate 14 days before you bleed. I have a 35 day cycle, so I'd ovulate on the 21st day.

Varies with the person and lots of factors can interfere: hormone level fluctuations, stress, medications. My sister even releases an egg DURING her period. Made it darned hard for her to get pregnant.

Any time you have concerns regarding your reproductive functioning, it's a good idea to see a physician - either traditional or homeopathic.

I ovulate every 19 days instead of every 14. We are not all "by the book".
