I broke my fibula 3 weeks ago today and the cast is scheduled to come of in 8 more days. My concern is that it has begun to hurt even more the past few days. I am worried the cast might not be ready to come off. One thing to note: the temperature where I live was unseasonably warm and the time the pain increased was when Austin had it's first "hard freeze". Can this influence the pain in a broken bone? I guess I have 2 questions here but am getting frustrated and sick of being gimped.

The pain started in my armpit, almost felt like a bruise. Then a few days later I had a bump in my chest and it is very tender and painful when touched. There is nothing visibly wrong, but you can feel the bump

My wife is clinically depressed. She blames me for all of her problems. She tells all of her friends and family how evil and nasty I am with little or no truth to back her claims. Is this normal? How long does it last? She has been in therapy for nearly a year and recently started taking Welbutrin. Please advise.

I'm not talking about the clinical part(actually practicing with a real person), there are written exams and study material that goes along with this too. Please answer if you actually have info.

I've recently read that the Netherlands are on their way to legalize Euthanasia for the severely Depressed and Lonely (ex. men and women who cant get girlfriends/boyfriends, involuntary celibates, permanent virgins, senescent folks). The requirement will be proof of the intolerability of the patients life and that the patient has no chance of bettering by way of psychological examination.

This is great news and hope for people like myself who, as a 23 year old American male virgin at an intolerable 5'5" (which will NOT get better), would like nothing more than to go to my local Dr., and obtain a prescription for a drug that will finally put me to a peaceful death.

I know that there are a lot of critics of Euthanasia - I've heard all their vacuous arguments. A person's life belongs only to that particular person - he/she should have the right to relinquish it.

Euthanasia of this kind will no doubt be available to the American public in the future. What are your thoughts?

PTSD sufferers are known to respond uncontrollably if a subsequent similar circumstance arises, until the crisis is dealt with. People with a dissociative identity may be taken over in similar circumstances. Certain research indicates that about 85% of DID cases arise from trauma in early childhood and the remaining cases all have a common factor of (probably inappropriate) attempts at therapy.
The differences between PTSD reaction & DID appear to be 1) the awareness or otherwise of the subject 2) the length of time the subject takes to deal with the crisis.
Is there an objective boundary between PTSD & DID?
What other defined differences exist between DID & PTSD?

I hear those voices, they were telling me to go back to work. They were telling me to stop worrying about death. Why do these voices and thoughts keep talking to me. They were telling me what to do with my life. And I ask what the meaning of life, they said I don't know. And when I ask what happens after we die, they say we just die.

What am I to do?

What do your Schizophrenia voices talk to you about?
