GOAT MILK is the easiest to digest. I learned this from a great healer from India, while I was in school for holistic medicine. It is extremely easy to digest, and very good for you. I drink it every single day.

It is best to heat it up on the stove; it is not good for you to drink anything cold, ever; it decreases digestive ability.

As someone who is lactose-interolant myself, I find that the more "liquid" the lactose food, the worse it is. Hard cheese is not that bad. Yogurt really gets my stomach upset. I don't even drink milk at all, even the "lactose-free" kind. I just can't deal with it.

Is the abdominal pain from excessive gas built up from drinking the milk? If so, that's understandable. If you have pain, but don't feel gassy, then it's probably something else altogether.

I've never heard of the dairy period. Could be a new thing.
Your body has learned to be sick to dairy - related things because you have been conditioned to feel sick at the taste and texture of dairy products. Take a break from it all, maybe in a while you will be able to handle lactose free imitations.

Seems like your stomach just doesn't like dairy.
