I woke up this morning and i could not bend my knee.I think its my knee cap.It hurts so bad someone tell me what to do

It started a day ago, at first I didn't know it was swimmer's ears so I started popping my ear drums (just holding my nose and exhaling making my ears pop) and I was wondering if that was going to harm my ear drums severly.
Also, I'm not sure if I should go to the doctors or just wait it out until the pain goes away. I've had near deafness in the ear and severe pain. I've had swimming for a whole week but I also have a cold, but I have all the symptoms of swimmers ear just not the drainage.

I have PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome) and take birth control to regulate my period. I hadn't taken the pill for quite a few months because I didn't have health insurance to cover the prescription. Since I had stopped I didn't get it (which is normal with PCOS), but now that I took it this month, I got my period, and it's the worst it's ever been. I've gone a while without my period before and never had it THIS BAD afterwards.
I don't have health insurance again until February, so I'm going to have to stop taking the pill again, and can't see the doctor until then. But, does this seem ok? Or do you think it's bad? (I'm not talking the usual heavy flow. it's BAD.) Thanks!

I'm giving a speech on pro stem cell research. My classmates have replied to my claims saying there are no results of a cure, or evidence showing the potential of a cure, yet. I don't believe this is true, but I've found weak evidence proving otherwise so far. All I've found is scientists claiming this research may lead to a cure, which isn't very specific. If you know of any evidence or supportive claims that prove stem cell research may lead to a cure than it would be very appreciated it you would please share. Thanks!

I'll make this quick and to the point:

How is it possible to become pregnant on the birth control (during placebo week, perhaps) while women wanting to get pregnant usually have to wait at least 3 months to get the hormones out of their system?

Does the birth control pregnancy relate more to those who don't take their pill regularly?
