How do I tell my parents I have a boyfriend. We are not close at all.

Not close to your boyfriend, or not close to your parents?
Here's my two cents:
Step 1. Get both your parents in one room, at gunpoint if necessary.
Step 2. Say in a clear, resolute voice, "Mother, Father, I have a boyfriend and I want you to know about him. Questions, comments, concerns?"
Step 3. Establish an open dialogue. If your parents don't care/won't communicate, you've at least done all you can. If they are willing and do care, maybe you can repair your relationship.

Just tell them straight out. Honesty is the best policy when it comes to parents.
