Sorry- No beer that contains gluten( pretty much every beer on the market)
Barley is one of the main ingredients in beer and people with Celiac Disease must stay away from wheat, barley, malt, oats and rye.

I now drink Hard Cider. It's fairly easy to find at a pub or bar ( even on tap) and my supermarket and beer distributor both carry it.. However it is a little on the sweet side.

For a more "beerlike" experience there are several alternatives-

Bard’s Tale Beer –USA brewers with current distribution in Iowa, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Vermont. The owners are Celiacs and beer lovers themselves who are dedicated to keeping the beer experience alive for those who are committed to a gluten-free lifestyle.

Dragon’s Gold – Bard’s Tale Beer, USA – Golden amber with light white head, with the aroma and taste characteristics of a satisfying, finely crafted wheat beer. This beer is crafted with pure water, premium sorghum, hops and yeast, combined with buckwheat, natural honey, corn and rice. This is Real Beer for Real People.

Tavern Ale – Bard’s Tale Beer, USA – Soon to be on the market, another finely crafted offering from the makers of Dragon’s Gold.

Ramapo Valley Brewery - Located in beautiful Rockland County in New York, these folks travel to various conferences throughout the year, and offer their Gluten-free beer year-round.

Honey Passover Beer - Ramapo Valley Brewery, USA - Bright golden in color, with a delicate honey and hops nose. Crafted with honey, molasses, Kosher yeast hops and pure, sparkling water, this gluten-free wonder has 5% ABV, a lighter taste and is dry at the finish.
Good Luck!

Yes, you can have beer, just not the traditional beer. If you're located in the US, try Bard's Tale beer, New Grist, or Ramapo Valley Beer. Also, Anheiser Busch is releasing a brand new gluten free beer called Red Bridge which should be available within the next week or so. Woodchuck brand ciders are also gluten free and a nice alternative to beer.

Most beer is made with barley and of course wheat, so the answer is no for "main stream" beers. There are speciality beers brewed from rice or sorghum and they are gluten free.

There is an article at Bella Online that names some of the GF brands. http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art30583.asp

So no longer purely could desire to you grant customary beer, yet additionally gluten containing ingredients. As a celiac, i does no longer pass to your eating place except my spouse and acquaintances could desire to order what they wanted. My spouse's purely hazard to consume customary foodstuff is whilst we consume out on account that she eats gluten unfastened at homestead to simplify existence.
