I'm supposed to be having a hysteroscopy tomorrow. A hysteroscope is inserted through the cervix to view the inside of the uterus.

Hello yes you can as they are going to look at the cervex and neck of womb.
I have recently had one i was not on a period but they said it was ok if I had been.
You will be ok it is uncomfortable they found I had small polyps and a cyst which they treated there and then also a coil fitted due to menapause and did a byopsy. After I went home and you have to rest for a few hours I bled for a few days but not heavy and also due to byopsy I had a terrible smell down below which no one told me about and is normal it went after week and a half.
Good luck you will be fine just make sure you rest after and have someone with you to take you home. They gave me a cup of tea and I had to wait half hour before I went.

Call them and ask. You may need to reschedule for a procedure like that.
