When my little sister ..she's 12yrs. old ...blinks she closes one eye and then the other..like one open one closed`? she says she doesn't know why it happens but she looks kind of weird and I am worried about her. Is it gonna go away? it had never happened to her before. Thanks!

Honey please take your sister to get her eyes checked maybe something is going on there.If the eye specialist cant find anything take her to see the doctor , then you need to not worry as u helped your little sister cuz the problem will be found.

This is new behavior? And there's not something caught in the corner of her eye? Then have your mom or dad take her in to the eye doctor to get looked at.
When I got older I started to sometimes blink one eye fully, and the other partially, but I don't do one, have a delay, and then the other. That sounds like something that ought to get checked out.

It could possibly be a variation of a Tourette syndrome eyeblinking tic. Does she have any other problems, like attention deficit disorder, hyperactivity, obsessions, compulsions? Is she nervous? Is she messy or compulsively neat? These disorders go along with Tourette syndrome.
