I've been having problems with waking up in the middle of the night covered in sweat for no apparent reason. My boyfriend is the same way. I go to bed after him, but when I climb in, I have to take the covers off him because he is covered in sweat. We have the fan from the AC on all night as well as an oscillating fan and it's wintertime where we live, so why is this happening? I thought it was because we get hot in the middle of the night from the heat being turned on (by our apt complex) but I have tried sleeping in nothing just so I can hope that I don't wake up all covered but it hasn't been helping. Can anyone help pinpoint the reason and maybe a solution?

I have been given an awesome oportunity. A benefactor has been flippin the bill for my dental work. I am about to have braces removed. It is now time to have crowns put on. My teeth are all different shapes and sizes. Today, I had a consultation with my dentist about crowns. Right now he only plans on putting crowns on 6 upper teeth and a few crowns on the bottom teeth.
I admit ignorance, but I am concerned nonetheless. I have told the dentist that money is not the issue. Therfore, shouldn't my dentist be putting crowns on every tooth? He is out of the office until Monday, or I would call and ask him.

I am looking for information about Schizophrenia. But I can't find any that isn't about paranoid schizophrenia.

I was diagnosed with it but all the info I find is about people who are paranoid schizophrenia.

I'm looking for websites that would have more info that would relate with my situation. Any links would be great

Thanks

Why is it that people think it's okay to say to thin people, "Oh my goodness! You are sooooo skinny!", but it's not okay for people to say to heavy people, "Oh my goodness! You are sooooo fat!"

Why is it that people think it's okay to say to thin people, "We need to fatten you up! , but it's not okay for people to say to heavy people, "We need to work on slimming you down!"

Why is it that people think it's okay to say to thin people, "You better put some more food on that plate! , but it's not okay for people to say to heavy people, "You better take some food off of that plate!"

I am thin. I realize that. But, can we stop with all the "you're too thin" comments? Does anyone else think this is rude, or is it just me?

When I run more than a half mile--and sometimes less--I get an ache in the front of my left shoulder that radiates up to my neck. The pain is definitely strongest in the shoulder, but the neck and even the upper arm feel the pain too. The pain is never on the right side.

I'm not too concerned because I've had this same thing happen often for the last twenty years whenever I went running any sort of distance. I'm in my upper thirties now.

Still, is this normal?

It is terrible the damage that is done to patients when they are hospitalized. This is especially true for elderly or severly sick patients. Often times nurses or techs.actually learn on the patients. Elderly people have very tissue thin skin and the nurses are in such a hurry that they often traumatize the patients. First rule of medicine is to do no harm. Any thoughts how to protect yourself and others?

I take Singular 10 mg daily, and have a max air inhaler, which is efficient for a little while during swimming, but not enough. I have a month until I see my asthma doctor, and I want a little advice now. Any suggestions on breathing techniques, or procedures that will really help my asthma?
