An antibiotic and also this other pill that turns your pee bright orange. I love that stuff. But i don't know the name of it.

It Would Depend On What Organism is, For a Undifferentiated Bacterial Infection, Empirical Treatment Usually Begins with Either Bactrim or a Fouro-Quinolone (Ciprofloxicin, Levaquin or Another). One Might Add a Gram-Positives Inhibitor, Such as Pyridium.

I like Levaquin as you only take it once a day, but I have also been given Bactrim. They will also give you a medication like Urospas to stop the pain. This is the one that turns your urine dark reddsh orange and will stain EVERYTHING - but it does work!

They would give you some antibiotics, and make you take cranberry pills or drink a lot of cranberry juice. The cranberry juice will kill the bacteria in your unitary tract.
