Ice does not give you cavities. Cavities come from bacteria. TO rid this problem you must brush your teeth. Ice can make your teeth cold and you can be sensitive to the cold that results in pain, but it cannot cause cavities.

Eating ice breaks down the enamel on your teeth making them suceptable to damage from sugar, not brushing, and other elements. Therefore you will get more cavities.
