Does anyone have experience with this & how long this will last along with the numbness? I see my surgeon for follow-up in a couple of weeks so didn't want to wait until then unless it's not normal to still be having this?

had a lumpectomy in 2000. still have some soreness and still numb, also itching at scar site. have used everything doc. recommended, nothing has worked for me. try a cancer support group, you will find that you are not alone with a lot of your issues.

I had the same thing at it lasted about a year after surgery. It has been 3 years now and I still get pain in the scar from time to time.

It has been 29 months and I still get pain and tenderness. Sometimes my breast feels swollen (possible lymphedema) I also have ulnar nerve problems in the arm and carpal tunnel syndrome which was diagnosed about the same time as the cancer.

So far my follow ups have been clear knock on wood.
