i am a 24 years old girl. from about 2 months and a half i felt a lymph node on my neck, it was really small. i went to see a docter about it, he said that it is better to get it removed and have a bioposy. he did get it removed, and it was diagnosed to be caused by a virus. the problem it that right after the operation i had a very big lymph node in exactly the same place. i went to see another docter, he told me that it might be post operation complication or something. he told me to wait and not to worry about it. it has been about 2 months and the lymph node is still visible but it has decreased in size a lot. is it normal for a lymph node to stay that long, and how long will it take to dissappear? could this really be post operation complication or is it something else???

Just want to know what you think of this...
I was in hospital the other day and a guy in the bed opposite me had a disease where he had tried many different drugs but all seemed to cause very bad side effects. A consultant doctor came in and told him the the administrators had said no to the doctors giving him another drug, PROVEN not to cause to side affects, because it was too expensive. The administrators had said to give him another cheaper drug that had the side effect of making him infirtile and causing mailignancy!! I couldnt believe my ears. The doctor was absoloutely livid. Can i point out that these administrators are purely accountant people who had nothing to do with the patient but took a pivotal role in his health and future. The doctor said she would appeal and fight to get these drugs for him. She said a year ago they were handing out these drugs daily but the system is bankrupt now! I think that is disgusting! The guy was 25 years old by the way!

i offered 2 weeks ago, to come in and work from 9-6 (i work at a car dealership). i was all hell bent on the 9 hours, time and a half, until i woke up sick as a dog yesterday, and gradually feeling worse. haven't slept yet, can't keep any food down, and running a mild fever.

should i feel bad calling out sick, if i offered my services in advance?

I have just been diagnosed with Crohns and am experimenting with food elimination and keeping a food diary - Preliminary results appear to point to the fact that Meat and meat products are causing the main problem? When i eat only veg based products I have minimal flare up?

Has anyone else found a similar intolerance in them or relatives? It seem silly to me, can only be certain Nutrients that are in meat products?????

THANKS
