I have seen families and friends not really getting a person medically checked completely, when they complain of ill health and think that they are acting, only to find out much later that the small problem that was curable has now become incurable. Get them checked completely but if there is no problem, take them to a psychatarist.

Hypochondriac

A person who has hypochondriasis, a disorder characterized by a preoccupation with body functions and the interpretation of normal body sensations (such as sweating) or minor abnormalities (such as minor aches and pains) as portending problems of major medical moment. Reassurance by physicians and others only serves to increase the hypochondriac's persistent anxiety about their health.

The hypochondrium is the anatomic area of the upper abdomen just below (Greek "hypo" meaning "below") the cartilage (Greek "chondros" meaning "cartilage") of the ribs. Hypochondriasis was thought by the ancients to be due to disturbed function of the spleen and other organs in the upper abdomen.

Hypochondriac. Hypochondriasis is a fear of having a serious disease based on misinterpretation of physical symptoms or normal bodily functions. Hypochondriasis is nonvolitional; the exact cause is unknown. Diagnosis is confirmed when fears and symptoms persist for ≥ 6 months despite reassurance after thorough medical evaluation. Treatment includes establishing a consistent, supportive physician-patient relationship; psychotherapy and drug therapy may help.
Please see the webpages for more details on Hypochodriasis.

The closest one I know is hypochondriac, although it is a little off. A hypochondriac is someone who thinks he is inflicted with everything given mundane or even no symptoms. It's not hyperchondriac though.
