I had a light period 3 days before it was due, on a monday, which only lasted 4 days with no blood clots. After i finished i did a pregnancy test which was negative. the following week on a friday (almost 2 weeks since i came on) I had a smear test. Then 6 days later (yesterday) I have started to bleed and it is quite heavy with clots. Is it a period? my next period is not due untill 4th december. I dont get my dates mixed up as i allways mark it on the calender. Thankyou.

I keep very active I do lots of mountain biking, play football.
Just recently I have joined the local gym. Getting to the point, when im running I start to feel pain down the outer sides of my shins, it burns like hell. Today just walking about my shins feel sore, I was telling someone about it and they said I was suffering from shin splints?
What are shin splint?
How can you stop them?

OK, I only had one shot of the contraceptive injection on 15th Aug, which was due to run out around the 7th Nov. Was due to go back on the 31 Oct for second, but have decided on trying for a child so didnt. Started light bleeding on 30th Oct and still am now. Im bleeding a little, but sometimes its very faint. Have been having unprotected sex ever sice Aug, but like I said we'd like to start trying for a child. Im not sure what this is. When I started the injection I bleed fairly heavily for 4 weeks before it calmed down, this time it will be 4 weeks on mon. Is it just my body settling? Any suggestions welcome and advice always appreciated.

Got pain from under right ear down my neck, feels like a nerve or something. The pain begins under my earlobe and feels like something is pinching a nerve or something similar. It radiates down to where the spine connects to my skull and down towards the right shoulder. It's been going on for 3 days now and I am getting a bit concerned, although it's weekend now and I will not be able to go to a doctor. Has anyone had something similar? It almost feels like a cross between a pinched nerve and a severe headache at the bottom right of the back of my skull.

A woman went boating one Sunday taking with her some cans of coke which she put into the refrigerator of the boat. On Monday she was taken to the hospital and placed in the Intensive Care Unit. She died on Wednesday. The autopsy concluded she died of Leptospirosis. This was traced to the can of coke she drank from, not using a glass. Tests showed that the can was infected by dried rat urine and hence the disease Leptospirosis. Rat urine contains toxic and deadly substances.


It is highly recommended to thoroughly wash the upper part of soda cans before drinking out of them. The cans are typically stocked in warehouses and transported straight to the shops without being cleaned.


A study at NYCU showed that the tops of soda cans are more contaminated than public toilets (i .e.) full of germs and bacteria. So wash them with water before putting them to the mouth to avoid any kind of fatal accident.
