If an adult usually sleeps at 2 am and wakes up around 9 am, is it bad for health?

No -the person is still getting 7 hours of sleep.

It really doesn't matter what time of night - or day - you sleep, as long as you are getting at least 6 hours of sleep.

The only thing it might be bad for is your job if you're supposed to be there at 8 am.

its not bad for you as long as you are sleeping 6 to 8 hours at a time. I am 34 and have always went to bed at 2 to 4 am even as a kid I sleep when I can until 11 or 12. as you can see in my pick I look younger the 34 and I am healthy my blood pressure is right on the money my at rest heart rate is 68 bmp. I have maintained 20/20 vision and good hearing. The only time I have ever had a problem is when I went for a year with only sleeping 2 to 4 hours a day while in a combat zone in the Army, I heard voices that were not really there. I was prescribed a mild sleeping pill and in 2 days of 6 to 8 ours of sleep perday I was fixed- Sleep deprivation can let the mind do scary things.

It doesnt matter what time u sleep as long as you get around 7-8 hours a day.

no the body need about 8 hrs of sleep. if u sleep more then normal then the body get 2 much sleep and teh body feels tired do 2 to much sleep.

No, if you keep the same sleeping pattern of at least 7-8 hours every night then you are healthy.

Some people need less sleep than others. My son-in-law hardly needs any sleep. As long as you don't feel tired I'd say that's probably normal for you.

it is not unhealthy.it is just a bad habit.you should try to go to bed earlier and sleep around 8 hours.

I used to sleep juz 4 hours,
