I'm 45, when nobody is home, I grab a pair of scissors and run across the room with them, then put them down. That's the kind of "Off the hook" crazy guy I am, "so what", if they're the plastic "safety scissors" with the blunt tips !

Once I was running with a pair of scissors, when i slipped on a banana skin falling badly, contorting my face in agony just as the wind changed direction.
So follow your mother's advice and don't run with scissors, or you can end up as ugly as me.

yeah but no running involved. Was sitting at a table and dropped a sharp pair of scissors. Instinctively I went to catch them, which I did by sticking them up to the hinge in my hand. 6 stitches for that one :-((

Mom always said don't run w/ scissors but I've tried it and never had any accidents .

Not scissors, but a screwdriver, I was changing a fuse in a plug, when the screwdriver slipped into my hand. I felt real sick at the time, and I now have a lovely scar to show for it.

Yes, had a small accident, when i was trying to make some paper trees. I cut off skin layer from finger tip along with paper. Its bled quite badly. theres still a small scar there on fingertip.

yep...i dropped a pair of really sharp scissors whilst sitting down.....in shorts and they fell sharp pointy bit first into the side of my knee.......... they were standing of there own accord...... bloody hurt too!!

My friend has. While she was giving the "downstairs" a trim, she actually snipped a bit of her lip off!!!! OOOOooooooohhh, brings tears to the eyes eh??xxx

Not since I can remember. Cut my finger once when I was very small. Mum gave little sympathy. Cleaned and bandaged it, and reminded me I knew better,
