Go and see a doctor - now! I have to say I'm surprised you've left it 4 years.

And make an appointment at a GUM or STD clinic too - there are some diseases which, while they won't kill you, can make you feel constantly tired and give you lower back/stomach pains, and sometimes cause fertility issues, like Chlamydia (which isn't well-publicised) or pelvic inflammatory disease for instance - Though this is something you'd only really need to worry about if you've had unprotected intercourse.

There are, on the other hand, various other things it could be which are just annoying rather than harmful, but anything in the ovary/womb needs to be looked at by a professional and treated as soon as possible as it's a complicated organ.

I know (from experience) that anything in that area can be a source of mystery and worry, especially as the womb and ovaries are sucha a fundamental part of womanhood, but you must take the bull by the horns and get it dealt with. You'll feel better when it's sorted.

I had pain in my left ovary for a long time and saw 3 different doctors. I finally went to the emergency room and got an ultrasound done and found out my ovary had imploded. By the time I was able to have it removed, the doctor found that both ovaries were like that and I had growth all over the place, a piece of it had fallen behind my uterus. She just did a biopsy and closed me back up.
Then I was sent to an Oncologist who recommended a total Hysterectomy. He didn't know if I had cancer or not, so he wanted to be safe and remove everything he could so there wouldn't be much left for the growth. I didn't know until I was in recovery that it wasn't cancer. Whew!
Don't go to an Urgent Care, they don't have the equipment for an ultrasound, go to the emergency room.

Good luck.

i know everyone is saying, see a dr., but I have a feeling you already have. If I'm wrong, well then obviously start there. If it's from cysts, tell them enough is enough. I have them and after trying medication after med. dr. after dr. I have found one that says, "ok, we try this pill, if it doesn't work we go for one more. After that, we give up if it doesn't work and we take them out, ovaries and all. No one should live like this" This is after 8 dr.s in 11 years. YAHOO, I finally found one with sense. I live on pain pills for 2-3 weeks out of the month because of a thick uterus, which causes excessive and continual bleeding, and ovarian cysts. I'm done having kids, so out they come if they can't fix things.
Find the right dr., which is one that listens and comes up with solutions. Not one that say, "oh well, it's part of being a woman", which I have heard a zillion times.
Keep trying until you find a dr. that helps.
Hang in there. I know you're pain and the drained feeling too.

You should have sorted it four years ago.

Sorry to be so abrupt, but I was a manager in a retail food store, and one of my staff had the same trouble at work. I contacted the emergency services, and parents, and saved someone with ovarian cancer, that is now no problem to the person concerned as fully cured,

Please seek advice now.
It may not be cancer, but even if it is, it can be cured.

May I wish you all the best, good luck, and I am thinking about you,

Go to the doctors,... why haven't you gone to the doctors in four years!.....

i maybe something simple and easily treatable,..... it may just be heavy period etc..... but the longer you leave it the worse it can get so go and see your doctor, if you can't see your doctor go to A&E and say you've been getting severe pain in your overies and it's draining me....... but try your doc's first.......

i don't know how old you are, i'm assuming young.... don't be embarised, the doctors are there to help you, ......

good luck

And why haven't you seen a doctor in those 4 years? Have you never thought something might be wrong?

If its ovarian cancer, you may have left diagnosis too late to be of low risk to your health and safety. I suggest you see one right away. Don't let another day go past...

Hi Vicky - think you need to discuss this with a doctor as sounds like there could be an underlying problem. Good luck xx

You must get a medical opinion . If your GP is not able to help ask for a second opinion from a specialist gynaecologist. If GP is being difficult; insist!
