i recently had a cooking accident, and got 2nd degree burns on my hands and a bit on my face as a result. the paramedics came, but didn't think my injuries were serious enough to require doctor's attention. still, the paramedics didn't give me solid enough reccommendations on how to treat the injuries. the biggest problem is the blister i have on my right hand that is about twice the size of a quarter. i heard that yer not supposed to pop the blister, and i have iced the blister which have helped reduced the size significantly, but i still need to go to work, and i can't if i still have the blisters. what can i do to treat the blister? any reccommendation is appreciated. thank you!

I am a 31 year old man and I work out and stay in shape. I am not obsessive about exercise but I do it regularly know proper technique because I was a Phy Ed minor. I went to the doctor and the nurse weighed me. She said that I was at the target weight for my height. And she looked surprised and said that was rare because most people are either weight or grossly overweight. The funny part is that she said that and SHE was grossly overweight. I can't eat alot at all because I have terrible acid reflux (GERD). And I am almost thankful for this condition when I look at people around me. Why are Americans so fat? Why isn't there more emphasis on physical education in American schools?

I'm 17, been to a therapist since 4th grade.. it's sort of a secret from most of my family though, my mom is the only one who knows, because she set it up.. the school system set me up with the school to see the counselor.. but I always get an ear full from my dad when the subject of bi-polar and all that come up, and how he thinks its a load of crap, and I just nod, agreeing. Even though I've never really been 'diagnosed' with depression, I deffinitely know its worse them most peoples. I just hate making a big deal about things. Earlier this year I tried to kill myself, but when my therapist asked if I needed to be committed, I declined.. because I just don't want to be a problem to people.. Do you think that mental health disorders are real? ADHD, is that just a kid who doesn't listen and needs his *** beaten, like my dad says. Depression, is that just someone who makes themselves depressed, as he says as well? Even though I know he's OCD and so am I, so why would he accept that?

Ok September I started the new Nueva ring (birth control) My mom kicked me out in the end of october and I got mad at her and took out my birth control and it was out longer than a week and I had already had my period and got off it.Then I had sex with my boyfriend. Then my mom made me put it back in. Ok so now my breast are sore, I get really bad stomach pains, I get sick to my stomach multiple times in the day, and I am discharging a little. Could this be hormones?? Please tell me what you think is happening because I dont think it is hormones. Someone please help me.

He's showing the classic symtoms of going to the toilet more often, drinking loads, pains in his chest, feeling weak and then fine after a meal. He won't go to the doctor. What can I do? He had an illness last year called labyrinthitus, mainly the same symtoms but was given tablets from the doctor but they don't seem to work very well. Hes very overwieght but refuses point blank to eat ANY fruit or veg, with the exception of potatoes. I am really struggling here, so any serious answers would be greatly appreciated.

When you stretch,(and I mean stretch..like doing the splits and bridge and stuff) does it effect the way your muscle looks? Say that you wanted really defined abs, but you stretched your abdominals every day..would this prevent you from developing them? (also, can you stretch your skin out?) Strange questions, I know, but I'm really flexable, and I don't want to be doing stuff that'll I'll later regret! Thanks!

she could never sleep alone at night now and as a child. she is 37 years of age and has 3 children that she can not care for at this time due to her phychosis. she begged me to take her to a priest or contact a medium for her i tried to take her to a priest but there was nothing they could do for her. they insisted she seek medical help. she used to tell me things and when i think back what she said have happened. she is now living by herself and i am constantly worries for her she is afraid of everything. she is paranoid and talks with herself or the people she is seeing. i really need to know if the is mentally ill or maybe she can see the dead and her mind has broken down with fear.

I have excersing about thirty minutes a day lately because I hurt leg and haven't been able to play sports. I usually excersise 30 minutes about 5 days a week. I heard that you should excersis less than that, and I was wondering ifdoing that was healthy. My mom thinks I excerisi too much, but I dont think that thats much at all.
