Tell the man he WILL go to the doctor and you will not take no for an answer. He's being selfish! Ask him if he wants to live blind and amputated? Also ask him to be sure to pay up his life insurance policy and increase it cause when he's gone, you're going to spend all of it on a healthy man! You make sure he goes and don't let up until he does. I'd ******slap him myself if I were there! Godloveya.

Your question is not very clear. Labyrinthitis is an inflammation to the inner ear caused by an infection or a virus usually. The symptoms are acute vertigo which is apparent when the head changes position. The room spins around you and sometimes you fall to the ground. There is sickness too as your balance is affected as in motion sickness.. The only medication is that which controls the vomiting. As that was last year and you are saying the pills don't seem to work very well, does he still have this condition? It has nothing to do with Diabetes.
Quite a lot of diabetics have had the condition for about 10-12 years on average before diagnosis and it is during this time that other organs in the body can be damaged. Diabetes can be effectively controlled but it is life threatening if not treated or left too late. Please go to the doctor and experience all the help available. All the best.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Your husband has to go to the doctor, who will perform a urine test and blood test and at this point he will also know if he is to see a diabetic specialist and dietician, the whole process is fine and straightforward and absolutely not a hassle. You seem very convinced of this illness being the cause, I know diabetics don't take too much bread and potatoes in their post-diagnosis diet as these foods are high sugar foods, but of course everyone is different. Regardless of whether or not he has diabetes, this diabetes illness can be caused by stress, age and diet, if after he has seen the doctor and it is not diabetes then he still has to watch his diet, veg and fruit must be taken and try not to eat excessive amounts of red meat, there are government guidelines on how much you should have per week. Reducing his weight is a surefire way to avoid, or reduce the affects of adult-onset diabetes. see the doctor quick. good luck.

Okay so you have a stubborn man in your life. To bad because he should take these sympoms very seriously. Untreated diabetes can lead to possible coma and death.
He needs to go have his blood tested (A1C, CBC/DIFF, Glucose Tolerance Test, etc.). If he drives his glucose could go to high and he could pass out -- if he doesn't care about himself -- ask him to care about the other people on the road.
If he is diabetic then he needs to stay away from: white potatoes (small sweet potato if fine but not every day). All white rice, pasta, breads, baby carrots, and lima beans. All these raise your blook sugar.
Eat meat, veggies, fruits, whole wheat bread, wheat pasta, brown rice, lowfat dairy, and use Mrs. Dash, herbs, and Smart Control spread. If he doesn't like Splenda then use Equal.
Buy a blood glucose machine (at Wal-Mart) and test him before he eats and afterwards. He may just need a diet change and not oral medication (but he won't know until he goes to the lab).
Hards head are hard to deal with. Keep his life insurance up-to-date.

OK. I never listened to my wife either. But the big 50 is looming, I've just started walking 3 miles every morning (including a killer of a hill!), eating fish and fruit and veg and generally trying to live a healthier life. I luckily, haven't got any symptoms of an illness but I weigh 14.10 when I should be 12.5 I am doing something about it, tell your husband he needs to wake up and smell the coffee!

He has to go and get checked out! Tell him that if he doesn't the condition will only get worse. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes a few years ago and was in denail for ages until my Mum forced me to go and see my GP. The longer its ignored the longer it is doing damage to the body. You could buy him a home testing kit and test his glucose level that way. Good Luck!

Lloyds Pharmacy are providing free diabetes tests at the moment, I just had one done. It is really important that he does the test.
If he refuses to eat fruit or veg, it might also be because he is lackin important vitamins. It is selfish of him to refuse to eat healthily and leave you worried, I had the same problem with my partner, but he was extremely underweight.
Good luck!

Lloyds pharmacy offer a free diabetes testing service, maybe he could be pursuaded to pop into the pharmacy if he won't go to the GP. Ultimately though, he's got to be willing to make changes to his lifestyle, even if they are just very small ones to start with. Showing him you care for him and are not against him is very important. All the best.
