Just as many people that say you shouldn't use it, say that you should. Who's right?

Well, the only thing I could figure is that it might keep the area to moist. But my instinct tells me that Neosporin would be good because it reduces scarring and of course kills germs. So I'm not sure who is right, maybe the next time you have a Dr.'s appt. for something you could ask your Dr.

It is not meant to be used on puncture wounds, which is what you have.

No reason not to use it, other than don't rub it in your eye.
